H2Ohhhh!

I need to drink lots of water. I don’t like plain water. I don’t like chemical sweeteners and colors … I don’t like the aftertaste of Stevia. I like Monk Fruit and Erythritol. Here are a few notes if any of the above ring true for you.

True Citrus products

I’ll start here, because adding these to any of the sweet water drops IMMEDIATELY make the water taste better. I use ONE packet in a 24 oz water bottle when I’m using any of the sweet drops, otherwise I might use more. I LOVE THESE THINGS. They also have a Lemon, Cilantro & Garlic seasoning for adding to salads, stir-fry, etc. that is BOMB.

For those who are unfamiliar, these True Citrus products are made from the oils and juice from the citrus. The crystallized substitutes are made with 100% all-natural ingredients and contain no natural or artificial sweeteners, preservatives or sodium.

I’ve purchased them on the True Citrus website and Amazon – True Citrus link below – prices/shipping varies so I check both.

Sweetener Drops & Notes

These are my favorite so far. Very little after taste, and a little goes a LONG way. The flavor is sort of a vague fruit punch flavor. They also come in lime. They are a Monk Fruit drop that is “optimized with erythritol” drop.

They are on the spendy side (7.99 for one, 14.99 for two on Amazon) compared to the ones below, but there are 280 servings in one bottle! The serving size says 4 drops, but not how many ounces of water that goes in(?) … I use 9 drops in my 24 ounce water bottle and it’s great with any of the True Citrus flavors. (I don’t like things overly sweet, so to your taste preferences of course.

This is a monk fruit with a little Stevia. I use 5-6 squirts (vs. drops like the one above) in 24 ounces of water. I found single-packs at Walmart online for $3.72. They have multipacks as well for a better discount. They only had large packs at Amazon.

These are a little LESS flavorful than the above two – mild flavor. The container says 1 squeeze per serving, 80 servings per bottle … I do 5-6 “squirts” per 24 ounce bottle (I think my squirts are smaller than “squeezes”). They are sweetened only with Monk Fruit. The price range is $5-6.50-ish per bottl at Amazon, so definitely a little spendier – look for multi packs.
This is a pure stevia drop that I like OK, but without the True Citrus packet addition, I don’t quite like the after taste. They are colored naturally, and I like the flavors/taste a little bit better than the SweetLeaf version below, but each bottle is only 20 servings. I use 5-6 squirts in my 24 oz bottle.
Also a pure stevia drop, but OK with the True Citrus packets. Flavor OK, especially combined with citrus packet. Cheapest of the group, after super concentrated Natural Mate drops at top.

BodyArmor Lyte

If I’m out and about without my water bottle/drops/packets — these are quite good. They are sweetened with erythritol, and have all natural colors & ingredients. I like all of the flavors.

Warning: Because they are sweetened with ONLY erythritol, you need to be wary of consumption – erythritol gives me the scoots if I have too much! :0).

Quite tasty though …
