Day 20: Rest and Antwerp

Stayed up too late after the Matt Maeson show and was wired. Took a bath, watched a show, tried to sky down and then BOOOOOOMMM. There was an explosion, literally across the street. Made the news. So that was weird. I heard it, obviously, but didn’t realize how close it actually was until I saw the police lights bouncing around my ceiling.

Had quite a few work tasks to do, and I scheduled a Thai massage for late afternoon – so you don’t actually want to shower and primp before a massage, so …

The massage was amazing. I know a little about Thai massage … it’s different than what we’re used to … different approach. They get right up in there and bend you in ways that are sometimes unexpected. But it as fabulous … left all droopy and happy.

Then wandered. Yet again, forecasted rain did it’s thing when I was indoors, and left me with a quite windy, but balmy walk around town. Grote Market is really close, and is quite a thing. The cathedral is just … speechless. Then some thai food (continuing the theme), and back to the rad lodging, writing this up, before I go to sleep soon.
