Day 13: Zagreb to Venice Travel Day

This is not sleeping

getting up at 645

Returning rental car to Zagreb airport

Walking to the city bus stop

Realizing that the walking and waiting involved in getting to the FlixBus line for Zagreb > Venice was better replaced by uber.

Bus to Ljubljana

Layover

Bus to Venice, complete with an extended border stop when entering Italy and traffic, which delayed us over an hour.

Then this message from my accommodations. Lol. Wut.

Then city bus from one area to Venice

Water taxi

Walk

WITH LUGGAGE.

Yes, I overpacked.

It’s interesting to face it all … a couple times I didn’t know if I could do it. But I didn’t have a choice. Thank GOD for Google Maps and piecing together routes and options.

Today was A LOT. This is just a quick stop in Venice to split up the trip to Cinque Terre tomorrow. Train this time.

I’m gonna sleep well …

Anddddd… no wi-fi, which I guess means those emails are gonna have to wait.

Oh – and EUROPE HAIR? what is it about the water that makes combing your hair after a shower like trying to comb an SOS pad. It’s making every other day hair washing more of a trend.

And I’m getting better at the 24-hour clock.

And dude … the rest stop + gas + baked goods + Cafe should be EVERYWhere.
