I’m sitting in my hotel room waiting to go eat dinner in a minute. Eat dinner. It’s 7:06pm here in Croatia … 10:06am back home.
I left Port Angeles about 7:15 am. Grabbed the Kitsap Airporter shuttle to Seatac. Met Ty who gave me good tips on Dubrovnik, cities for music in Italy, and a name of a restaurant in Romijn on the Istria Peninsula.
The trip was long, but fairly uneventful. Still have a hard time getting my head around the travel time and time zone change. Croatia is 9 hours ahead … I think it turned out to be about 14 hour of flight time … Absolutely stunning scenery and history … can’t wait to explore more.
Sat with Greg and Anita from Forks the whole trip – Anita and I are already best friends.
Back from dinner … getting to know the others in the group more. Walking tour of Dubrovnik tomorrow.
Now SLEEEEEP. I had 4 hours of sleep Monday and have now been awake for about 30 hours …
